Charity No. 1156529
Our service has been running since July 2012 and has gained a very good reputation with local hospital and Community Services. We have provided a service to over 120 stroke survivors and carers over the last two years and the need for our service is growing. Our goal is to continue to provide our unique service and to be able to expand the number of staff, rehabilitation opportunities and the therapeutic input we offer our clients. In the long term we hope to have our own base from which to deliver our service.
We have come along way since 2012 and now have over 30 members. We have formed our own Facebook and Twitter accounts and our own website and online store, selling items made by our members, you find on our Facebook page. We have formed relationships with other charity organisations such Learning Curve who provided courses for our members e.g. cookery and photography which were a great success.
We would like to thank Wiltshire Community Foundation who supported us with funding from the start and many other charities and businesses esp. Mander Duffill of Chippenham who have fundraised and donated to the work we do.
